Sometimes the best calls come at the most unexpected moments. Monday, while having lunch with fellow agents, my phone rang, and since I was expecting acceptance on an offer, I excused myself from the table and took the call.
It was not the acceptance call I expected. Instead, a woman opened the conversation with, "I found you on the Internet." She had my attention; I was all ears. "I'm looking for a real estate agent to list several apartments for lease."
The complex is located off Palos Verdes Drive South with Terranea Resort visible in the distance and Trump National Golf Course a few minutes down the coastline. I should have taken a picture of the queue. There were more than a dozen people lined up to view a new lease listing in Rancho Palos Verdes earlier this week. I was there with my client, and yes, we submitted an application to lease the sought after property with pool and view. We were not alone according to the listing agent.
The suspense continues to mount as the lucky lease lottery winner is still unannounced. There are credit checks to run and employment to verify. There are pets to consider and so much more. Leases in Palos Verdes are a hot commodity and landlords are loving it.
I listed a home for lease in Palos Verdes Estates this year for a previous client, and leased it for above asking price. Earlier this month I represented the tenants on a panoramic view property in Rancho Palos Verdes. Leases are becoming my new niche!

This is lease week for me! I'm showing leases today to a couple in from out of state. Tomorrow I have a lease move-in, move-out inspection and I hope to be submitting an offer to lease on a Palos Verdes home for my prospective tenants from out of town. My lease listing at 2321 Chelsea Rd will have new tenants next month so needless to say, I've been quite involved with the luxury lease market in Palos Verdes of late.
